This recipe is sooo easy to make---everything can be done ahead of time, even the day before! 
Healthier than frying, less clean-up and more time to enjoy time with friends/family and that cold one that would go so well with the meal!

Marinate 3lbs of chicken parts (skin on or off) in the following for 3hours or up to 12hours in ziploc bag..

2c. buttermilk, juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 TBSP of hot sauce, 2 TBSP ALMA FOODS Portuguese Smoked Pepper (paste), 3 cloves minced garlic, 5 sprigs of fresh thyme, kosher salt/pepper.

Mix 2c crushed cornflakes, 3TBSP ALMA FOODS PSP (dried), and 2tsp chopped fresh thyme in a shallow pan.  Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off, and dredge through the cornflake mixture, pressing to adhere.

Place on wire rack-fitted sheet tray and bake for 45 minutes until golden and crisp.  Say bye-bye to KFC's Extra Crispy chicken cause you just made a better version---booya!!
